[Pinout LTD](https://pinout.cloud/) is a registered company on Cyprus which aims to operate as a local integrator for smart home solutions based on open source software such as [Home Assistant](https://www.home-assistant.io/), [Odoo](https://www.odoo.com/). Instead of cloud based solution for remote control of smart home the company uses Robonomics parachain as a decentralized cloud. Two main functions are used: datalog() and launch(). The first one is for telemetry and the second one is for sending actual commands.

At the moment Robonomics already has a mechanism called RWS - subscription. This feature allows us to send transactions with no fee if the subscription is enabled. But in order to have the subscription a user must has a crypto wallet, be familiar with crypto in general and setup an account itself. Our next step is to ease the use of decentralized cloud by providing a conventional way of using services and hiding activation of the subscription under the hood.

Pinout engineers are not only developing the services but also intend to support users in case of an issue. Thus we came up with the following solution services that needs to be developed:

- [rrs-registrar](https://github.com/PinoutLTD/rrs-registrar) - odoo module for registering users and providing them necessary credentials for services (such as Pinata keys for example)
- [rrs-odoo-addon](https://github.com/PinoutLTD/rrs-odoo-addon) - odoo addon with DB layout
- [rrs-ha-integration](https://github.com/PinoutLTD/rrs-ha-integration) - integration for Home Assistant, it helps creating crypto keys and activates the subscription

The proposal aims to secure 6500 XRT for developers, renting virtual machines and management 

Problem Statement:
- Users of smart home solutions based on open source software face difficulties in setting up and using decentralized cloud services like Robonomics due to the requirement of crypto wallets and familiarity with crypto.

Significance:
- Simplifying the use of decentralized cloud services will make it more accessible to a wider audience and increase adoption of smart home solutions.

Proposed Solution:
- Develop various services including an Odoo module for handling issue tickets, a module for user registration and credential provision, an Odoo addon with DB layout, and an integration for Home Assistant.
- Develop a libp2p wrapper for communication needs.

Expected Outcomes:
- Improved user experience and ease of use for smart home solutions based on open source software.
- Increased adoption of decentralized cloud services like Robonomics.
